A Day at the Zoo

Wow, what a crazy, busy week it has been. Last Wednesday Tanner (for those of you who may not know Tanner he is Korts good friend of ten years and pretty much our 4th child) had a pretty bad seizure at school. This was actually the second one in two days. They took him by ambulance to the hospital . Well after a few hours he started back into them. They decided to take him down to Primary Childrens to see if they could figure out what was going on. We kept his little brother and sister until Friday, and had a fun time with them. To make a long story short after five days down there, and several seizures later, they never did figure out where they are coming from. He is such a trooper , he's back at school and has had two just this week but he is so upbeat and just keeps going. So anyway on Sunday we decided to go to Salt Lake to visit him in the hospital. We decided to make a fun day out of it and so after we were done at the hospital we went over to Hogle Zoo and spent some time there. On our way home we stopped off at the brand new Chuck E Cheese in Layton and the kids had a blast!! On Monday the elementary had the day off of school so Melissa and I decided to take the girls to High School Musical 3. We went to lunch, the movie, and then did some shopping. On Wednesday we had Addie and Eli after school so we made sugar cookies and then went down to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. We carved them that night and the girls had a great time playing in the goo. Last night we went to a soccer banquet with Kort and that was a lot of fine. He has been one of the managers of the High School soccer team this year and has just had a ball. Well sorry for the long post but that's what our life has consisted of for the last few days.

My goodness, you had quite a weekend. I have never been to ChuckECheese but it is a kid's dream. I hope they can figure out what's going on with Tanner. He is such a great kid.
