Merry Christmas

Wow! It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone. We had such a fun Holiday Season this year. Here are a few pics of our Christmas Day. All of the kids got exactly what they were hoping for . I realized that I didn't get any pics of Kambree with her big present, it was Kit the American Girl Doll. We have quite the crazy Christmas Day in our family. we get up and do our thing, then all of the grandparents come over to see what Santa brought. This year we decided that we would do a breakfast for them when they came, however Grandma Jolene and Grandpa Brent were the only ones able to enjoy it because Grandpa Bob and Grandma Grace were too early and Grandpa Terry and Grandma M.B. were too late. Anyway, then we go over to the Daley's for our Mattson party, and after that we head to Franklin for our Porter party. Yah it's a little hectic but that's OK. What could be better than spending Christmas with so much family? We truly are blessed!!!

Kort thought that he wouldn't be getting anything because his season pass to Beaver was his Christmas, however, Santa must have felt bad for him and brought him a few presents

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Kort Blingin' Grandmas scooter up!
Every year we get the kids matching pajamas. This is a tradition that Kort hates, so we now try to find him the most hideous ones that we can find!
Poor Grandma

Oh how I do love Christmas Eve! I really do think that Christmas Eve is almost funner than the Big Day itself, maybe it is all of the excitement building up. I'm not real sure but I do love it Every Christmas Eve my family meets at my parents around 6:00 for our big party. We eat lot's and lot's of food, open presents, and hang out while we await Santas arrival. Kambree was very much into tracking Santas every move this year via the internet and once he was in Florida, we had to pack up and head home as quickly as we could so that she could get to bed. I just love Kids at Christmas time!! Kort, as usual kept himself well entertained. My Mom had surgery on her foot about a month ago is not able to put any weight on it yet, so therefore, she has a little scooter that she can kneel on to get her around the house, well Kort felt like it looked a little bland so he decided to "pimp her ride" You'll be able to tell by the pics how that turned out. As usual the kids were spoiled rotten by Grandma and Grandpa and we all ate way too much yummy food, but that's what Christmas Eve is all about!!

One Wild Party

What a bunch! Nobody can resist kissin' Kort!

MMMMM Food

Gettin' ready for the Candy Bar Game

Tonight we had the Timothy Christmas Party at our house. We are a bunch that likes to eat and have a lot of good laughs. This year was no different, it is quite possible that you could have heard us from a few states away but that's OK, although we all live relatively close we really don't get together very often and I'm not sure why because when we do it is quite the party! I remember when I was little we would go to my Grandma Timothy's every Christmas Eve for a party with the whole family, it was so much fun. I remember that we would be so excited for Santa that we would all just be running crazy and then we would track him on the news and see how close he was. I can still feel that excitement when I think back on it and I hope my kids are able to get as excited as we would get. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago and now here are all of the cousins and I with kids of our own running wild. It's never been quite the same without Grandpa and Grandma here to celebrate with us but I'm sure that they are probably able to see the whole wild get-together and share a little chuckle.

Kambree and Aunt Shauna

Well Saturday didn't start off too well for our family. On Thursday Kaisley came down with a nasty case of the stomach flu and by Friday afternoon she was doing much better and so I figured she was better and we were done with it. Oh no, not true In the middle of the night Friday Kambree came down with it, and by Saturday morning Kort and I both had it. Needless to say, we spent all day laying around, groaning, and drinking lots of Sprite. By Sunday morning we were all feeling much better and we were so glad because we had a Christmas Party in Salt Lake at Aunt Shaunas house. Aunt Shauna is Chad's mom's sister and we just love her and her husband Brent so much. They always have a really nice Christmas get-together every year at their house. They buy every one of the kids a really neat present as well as us adults. Last year we weren't able to make it so we were going to be really bummed if we didn't get to make it again this year. We were wondering on Saturday but it all turned out just fine. After a fun time at Brent and Shaunas, we all loaded up and headed to Chuck E. Cheese for a little bit more Birthday celebration for Kambree. It was fun to play there with all of the cousins. We had pizza, chocolate Birthday cake, and opened a few more presents. All in all our weekend ended much better than it began.

Happy Birthday Kambree!!

Wow! Today Kambree turned nine years old, that is just so amazing to me that she can be nine already. Seems like just yesterday Chad was driving as fast as he could to get from Presto to Preston so that he didn't miss the big event. My water broke while he was at work and so Mandy took me over to the hospital, I called him right before we went over and said "you better hurry", I wasn't feeling contractions at all but I knew from Korts delivery that once my water breaks it's all over. So Mandy took me over to the hospital and they hooked me up to the monitors. I think that I was dilated to about a 7 or 8 . That's when I heard those 2 dreaded words for the second time in my life NO EPIDURAL. Chad came flying in and about 30 minutes later we had a darling, healthy, little baby girl weighing in at almost 8 pounds and was 2 weeks early. Well we think that she's still pretty cute but she certainly has grown up.

Our day started out with Dad's famous Birthday Breakfast. He and I were a bit tired as we had been up all night long with a sick Kaisley. However, he is such a good dad that he chose to get up and make Kambrees breakfast instead of getting an hour of sleep. She said that she had an awesome day at school and Mrs. Smart made it really fun and special for her. We love Mrs. Smart so much. Well I stayed home with my sicky girl so I was getting things ready for "The Friend Party"I got looking at the list of friends that she had invited and realized that I hadn't really given her a limit as to how many friends she could invite. OH there were about 20 on the list and the party was at my house ahhhh. Well I stressed over that thought for a minute and then just thought "Oh well they won't all come". Well guess what- They all came except for one. It really turned out well though. They all watched Snow Buddies in our theatre room, we opened presents, ate a giant pizza, and then it was time to go. Kambree has some super cute friends. We had the family party right after that and between the two parties, she was completely spoiled rotten. She deserves it though, she is such a sweet little girl, she's an awesome helper to me and an amazing big sister to Kaisley. She's a good friend and such a peacemaker. Kambree we love you soooo much. How much? More than you'll ever know!
