3rd Grade Science Fair!

The month of March in 3rd grade is always an exciting time. Time for the annual Science Fair!!! Kambree decided to make flubber for her project this year. It turned out to be quite a hit!!Here she is preparing the Flubber for the big day. Notice the color she made it, would you expect anything else?

I had been to the fair about 3 times before noon, but I promised Kaisley that after I picked her up at Donnas I would take her to see all the fun. She had such a fun time checking things out. She could have stayed for hours!

Once again the 3rd grade Science Fair was a huge success. It"s so fun to see all of the fun ideas that people come up with. The kids are so cute when they present their projects with such excitement. Only 6 more years and we'll be doing it again!!

Happy 40th Chad!!

On Saturday Chad turned the big 40!! Cindy got started early on in the week and put all of this fun stuff up at the shop!! Now when he turned 30, I pulled off a huge Surprise Party for him. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off a second time but decided to give it whirl. Yay, I DID!! I had invited about 20 of our close friends and family members to a celebratory lunch at Maddox. It was so great when we walked in and everybody was there and started singing "Happy Birthday".

He got some pretty great "OLD GUY" gifts. Besides the Just for Men, he also got some prune juice, polident, and a bag of marbles for when he loses his.

Kaisley also had a surprise for Dad. She told me that she wanted to take him to the park for his Birthday (sly little thing isn't she?) So on our way home from Brigham we stopped at Ryans Place Park in River Heights. This is our very favorite park!! I have to admit that it was a gorgeous day to be hanging out at the park. Good idea Kaisley!

Pancake Party!!!

Kambree's class earned a "Pancake Party" for achieving their A.R. Goal for the term. They got to eat all the yummy pancakes that their little bellies could hold. Here's Kambree with her awesome teacher Mrs. Smart. Breakfast just wouldn't be complete without a little O.J.

Fun Filled Family Weekend

When Chad came home from work Friday night he told me that he thought we could all use a "fun weekend away", being the on-the-go girl that I am I jumped all over the opportunity. He made some reservations at a hotel in Layton and when he came from work Saturday afternoon I had us all packed and ready to go. We kept it a surprise and the kids thought that we were just going to run to Logan. They were pretty excited when they found out!! We weren't at the hotel 5 minutes and Kaisley had her swimming suit on and was ready to hit the pool. We went to the pool twice the first night. We thought about going to the movie or something but they just wanted to swim.

That night we went to Famous Daves for dinner. YUMMMM. Of course we had to get the feast served in a garbage can lid!!

Now you can't go to Layton without a 9 p.m. run to Krispy Kreme. Oh yah and a 9 a.m. run as well. Yep I'm not too proud to say that we hit 2 hot lights within 12 hours!!

Last night we bought a movie in our room and stayed up late and watched it. It was Bedtime Stories, Kambree and I had seen it in the theatre but it was just as funny the second time. This morning it was breakfast and then back to the POOL!!

After we checked out of the hotel we had to do a little shopping (shocking I know)

Who would have thought that Costco could be so FUN!!

What a fun time we had! I'm glad that we could get away and spend some time together as a family. Love Ya All!!!
